How to cancel a Chegg subscription (and pause it instead)
To cancel Chegg on a computer: My Account, Orders, Cancel Subscription, confirm. App Store plans cancel in iPhone Settings. You keep access to period end.
To cancel a Chegg subscription, use a desktop or laptop: go to My Account, click Orders, find the subscription and click Cancel Subscription, then confirm with the orange Cancel Subscription button. You won't be charged again and you keep access until the end of the billing period you've paid for.
Cancel Chegg on a computer
- Sign in and go to My Account.
- Click Orders.
- Find the subscription on the right and click Cancel Subscription.
- On the next page, click the orange Cancel Subscription button at the bottom to confirm.
Chegg's help center says to do this from a computer, not the phone browser.
Subscribed through the App Store or Google Play?
If you signed up inside the Chegg app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you and Chegg can't cancel it. Use our guides for cancelling an Apple subscription or a Google Play subscription.
Pause instead (summer break)
Chegg lets you pause for up to six months. Start the cancel flow from Orders, choose Pause instead, pick the length, and click Pause subscription. Handy between semesters, but put a reminder in your calendar for when it restarts.

Cancelling stops future charges. You keep access until the current billing period ends; Chegg doesn't describe partial refunds in its cancel steps.

Does deleting my Chegg account cancel the subscription?
